Doctor Joel Wallach is sometimes referred to as the godfather of liquid supplementation. He is considered a true pioneer in the fields of biomedical research and nutrition. Doctor Wallach’s 40 years of work in the field of Veterinary Medicine forms the basis to his deep understanding of nutritional health. Some of his ground breaking research includes the discovery of the effects of selenium on cancer and the essential fatty acids on heart disease. He has written more than 70 scientific papers and six books including the famous textbook, “Diseases of Exotic Animals”, still being used today by leading veterinary schools, and can also be found on display at the Smithsonian Institute where it is stored as a national treasure.

He has worked tirelessly as an advocate of the dietary supplement industry and has successfully lobbied the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on a number of occasions. Dr. Wallach’s forward-thinking ideas on nutritional health are clearly spelled out in his most famous lecture, “Dead Doctors Don’t Lie” which currently has more than 150 million copies worldwide, making it the most widely distributed health lecture on record.
In 1988 Dr. Wallach received the Wooster Beach Gold Medal Award for significant breakthrough in the basic understanding of the cause of pathophysiology of Cystic Fibrosis awarded by the Association of Eclectic Physicians. Dr. Wallach was also a 1991 Nobel Prize nominee for for his stunning discoveries in the use of trace minerals to prevent catastrophic diseases in the newborn (Nomination by the Association of Eclectic Physicians, Chartered 1823). In 2011 Dr. Wallach received the Klaus Schwarz Award recognizing the work of pioneers in the field of trace element research.
Book: Dead Doctors Don’t Lie
As an open critic to medical doctors and the western medical and insurance system as a whole, Dr. Wallach continually sheds light on the fallacy of their practice, which is to treat rather than cure disease. His research has repeatedly proven that the human body can and will heal itself when given all of the essential nutrients, which he has famously dubbed “The Mighty 90”. Today, Dr. Wallach continues to lecture all around the country, frequently appears as a guest on radio and TV talk shows, and can be heard weekdays on his own nationally syndicated radio show “Dead Doctors Don’t Lie“. In 1997 Dr. Wallach and Dr. Ma Lan, MD, MS founded American Longevity, the network marketing company known today as Youngevity®. Today, Youngevity has a large international network of distributors and preferred customers as well as offices in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa and Japan.
